IMPORTANT NOTE: I’m not sure if this works on other versions of Ubuntu because this is my first time installing Ubuntu.
One of the things that make people don’t want to install Ubuntu is losing the ability to access Windows files. Well, if you do the following, you might see the files on Documents and Settings:

1. Open your Home Folder

2. Type in /host/Documents and Settings/<username>/ then press Enter

There you have it! This is where I found my Shared folder from Frostwire, so I can play music.

Another note: my Ubuntu installation is through Wubi, so I don’t know if this works on Live CD.
